New Configuration Tab for Consumer Protection #

  • From this new version, you will be able to apply a consumer protection law to your entire operation, thus restricting customer contact rules according to the selected law.
  • The available laws from this version are: USA-TCPA, which is an approved law in the United States, and Law 2300 (‘stop bothering’), which was recently approved in Colombia.
  • Thanks to this update, you will be able to comply with applicable consumer protection laws and regulations. This is important because companies that do not comply with these laws may face sanctions, fines, and even legal actions.
  • A company operating in the United States can apply the TCPA law to its entire operation to avoid making unsolicited calls to consumers.
  • A company operating in Colombia can apply Law 2300 to its entire operation to avoid making calls or sending messages to customers without their consent.
USA-TCPA
  1. Select the law in the consumer protection law field.
  2. Check the box to activate.
  3. In each tab “Voice,” “SMS,” “Emails,” and “WhatsApp,” you will need to configure the number of times contact with a customer is allowed for each channel type.
  4. Don’t forget to click “Save” to apply the changes.

New Configuration Option for the ‘Rest API’ Component #

  • Starting from this new version, you can set a timeout for obtaining a response from API consumption. For example, if you require a specific time for the API to complete its consumption, you can configure the time in the new field. This is useful in cases where API consumption may be delayed due to data volume or other reasons.
  • You can define a maximum waiting time of 300 seconds or 5 minutes.
  • Thanks to this update, you gain additional flexibility and control over managing your API consumptions through the ‘Rest API’ component in wolkvox Studio.
  • Note: The value in the field should be specified in seconds.

New Search Field for ‘Do Not Call’ Lists #

  • You can now search for a phone number directly within your ‘Do Not Call’ lists, eliminating the need to export the entire list to find a specific record.
  • This update enhances the efficiency of managing blocked phone numbers. It eliminates the step of exporting the entire list, saving time and streamlining the search process. By enabling direct searches, users can quickly and accurately access the information they need. This improves productivity and simplifies the management of blocked numbers within the platform.
